I just read it cover-to-cover in 1.5 hours.
It’s heartbreaking and real, yet left me feeling cheerful at the end, for she sinks to the depths but rises in power.
A magnificent book I already want to read again.

A DYSTOPIAN THRILLER
Overpopulation threatens the survival of the human race. About The Author
BEHIND THE WORDS
Denise Walker is an Indie Author and Poet based out of Edmonton, AB. Her debut thriller, "Cedar Valley", was released in October of 2016. In April, 2017 she embarked on a journey to sobriety from alcohol addiction. Finding solace in writing, she created her first poetry collection, Pick Your Poison: a raw and honest look into addiction & recovery. Pick Your Poison has been well received and landed a spot in the top five bestsellers for Canadian Poetry on Amazon. Her current passion project is Detox Podcast where she takes listeners deep into the poems Pick Your Poison, exploring the inspiration and emotion behind her words. She works full-time as an Emergency Communications Officer at Ambulance Dispatch and in her spare time she enjoys cooking, meditating, and traveling.
